This document is a narrative report describing a trip to determine the status of the endangered Schaus swallowtail butterfly (Papilio aristodemus ponceanus) and the threatened Stock Island tree snail (Orthalicus reses reses) after Hurricane Andrew. The areas surveyed include Biscayne National Park, north Key Largo, and the Monkey Jungle site.
