Aho J, Houston D, Moorhead B, Schreiner E, Starr R. 1983. Mountain Goat Ecology and Management Investigations, Olympic National Park, 1982. Olympic National Park. Port Angeles, WA

From the Introduction: "Mountain goat management and research activities conducted from January-December 1982 by personnel of the National Park Service (NPS) are summaried in this report. Mountain goats (Oreamnos americanus) were introduced into the Olympic Mountains during the late 1920s and have since dispersed throughout the range....Beyond the immediate management needs of Olympic National Park, these studies should contribute to the available ecological information on mountains goats - one of the least known ungulate in North America."
