Myotis leibi leibi in Kentucky

During netting and banding at Mammoth Cave National Park in late summer 1963 a total of 29 rare Myotis leibi leibe bats were caught and banded. There was no evidence of these bats living in the caves where they were caught and it is assumed they were transients. Observations during this period add considerably to the knowledge of this bat. The article gives information on the banding project, known information on the Myotis leibi leibi, and information on other bat species banded at the same time.
