This is an account of historic land use in the vicinity of Redondo Creek, Jemez Mountains, NM, by Indians of the Jemez Pueblo. Information was obtained through interviews with tribal elders and leaders. Discussions of land use include: plant resource gathering; hunting; ceremonies; mineral gathering; and sacred domains of animals, plants, and particular geographic features. Includes a list of plants and plant structures that have ethnobotanical significance.
