Natural history of Sabal minor: demography, population genetics and reproductive ecology
Ramp PF. 1989. Natural history of Sabal minor: demography, population genetics and reproductive ecology. Tulane University
An attached letter notes that much of the work was carried out in Jean Lafitte National Historical Park. Looked at growth, reproductive methods and genetic variability of Sabal minor - a palm native to the area. Found they grow slowly and may live for several hundred years.
