A proposal presenting the qualifications and approach of Science Applications International Corporation to assess the potential hazards involved in a future rockfall avalanche in the Chaos Crags area of Lassen Volcanic National Park. The technical approach includes a review of existing information on Chaos Crags, a field reconnaissance evaluation, data evaluation, selection of appropriate analytical methodology, and analysis of slope stability and extend of potential debris emplacement. There is no field data or conclusions included in this paper.
