Lake Meredith Recreation Area, Texas: Statement for Management

National Park Service. 1976. Lake Meredith Recreation Area, Texas: Statement for Management. National Park Service. Texas

'The Statement For Management is the first documentation in the, National Park Service planning process. Every park in the National Park System must have an approved statement, which is subject to annual review and revision. The Statement will be used to guide shot- and long-term management of the park, and to determine the nature and extent of planning required to meet the park’s management objectives. In the absence of more specific planning documents, the Statement will provide a general framework for directing park operations, and for communicating park objectives to the public.'
