An analysis of Foraminifera collected from a 510 ft deep core sample on Horn Island in the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Florida and Mississippi. The assemblages of Foraminifera are used to make judgements concerning past environmental conditions (salinity, temperature, and bathymetry). There are taxa lists showing the numbers of each species found at different locations in the core sample.
