An aerial survey of nesting bald eagles was conducted in Katmai 29 June-4 July 1986. Results of this survey and of previous surveys done in 1983-1985, as well as averages for 1975-1981, are presented in this report. Fourteen pairs on nests and 31 roosting eagles were seen in 1986.
