The nesting ecology of Cooper's hawk (Accipiter cooperi) and northern Goshawks (Accipiter gentilis) in the Jemez Mountains were studied from 1984 to 1988. The focus of this report is on home range sizes, habitat characteristics of nest sites, prey selection, population distribution, and reproductive success. Radiotelemetry and calling were used. There are two pages of recommendations for management.
