Nesting of the black-capped vireo in the Chisos Mountains, Texas

Barlow JC. 1967. Nesting of the black-capped vireo in the Chisos Mountains, Texas. Texas Condor. 69:605-608

There appears to be only a slight difference in the types of habitat occupied by the black-capped vireo and the gray vireo (V. vicinior). The ecology and the behavior of the two species is discussed
