A New Subspecies of Crowned Snake (Tantilla coronata) from the Southern Appalachian Mountains

Eleven specimens from the Park's collection were sent to the author to aid in his study. He found that they belonged to a new subspecies, to which he gave the name Tantilla coronata mitrifer. Letters in the same folder relate to the loan.
