Punzo F. 1974. An Analysis of the Stomach Contents of the Gecko, Coleonyx brevis. Copeia. 1974(3):779-780

In this study the contents of the entire digestive tract of 56 C. brevis adults collected during June, July and August of 1971, from the Chiso Mt. Basin in Big Bend National Park, Brewster County, Texas, were analyzed for the type and quantity of food consumed. Frequently, a portion of the food examined was at an advanced stage of digestion and impossible to identify. However, in most cases it was possible to identify the prey to family.
