Notes on Birds in Death Valley

Gilman MF. 1935. Notes on Birds in Death Valley. The Condor. 37(5):238-242

This researcher followed the limits set by Joseph Grinnell's earlier study of Death Valley birds, restricting investigations to the area below sea level. An annotated species list describes observations. (A handwritten note in copy 3 shows 131 species between Grinnell's 1923 list and 1933 additions. This paper adds 17 by Gilman and 3 more by Bourell.)
