This report summarizes the findings of research studying the ecology and distribution of the Florida seagrasses: Diplanthera, Syringodium and Thalassia. The studies were done in 3 different stations in south Florida, namely, Tampa Bay, Boca Ciega Bay, and Tarpon Springs. The study involved the morphology, distribution, reproduction and growth of the different species of seagrasses. Other parameters in the study addressed a determination of water temperatures, salinity, substrate composition, and associated fauna.
