A survey of the mammal species on the barrier islands of Mississippi in the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Florida and Mississippi. The methods involved the establishment of trap lines on transects through major habitat types on each of the islands. The results are discussed. Data tables show trapping records by habitat, island, and species. A literature search discusses previous mammal observations on the barrier islands.
