Occurrence of Enterococci on Plants in a Wild Environment

The bacteria were recovered from a small percentage of the flowers, leaves, soil, and water studied. The percentage appeared to be similar to the distribution among wild animals. The conclusion was that the bacteria are not plant specific, but come from the animals.
