This article combines geological, palynological, and dendroclimatological evidence to determine past climatic changes in the White Rock Canyon area of New Mexico. The author interpolates the paleoclimate of White Rock Canyon from studies of the Southwest. Geologic information and tree-ring data from New Mexico is collated with pollen analyses from Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado.
