This document involves a study conducted to determine the pre-clearance boundary of Fort Necessity. To accomplish this a feasibility study was undertaken. The objective of the feasibility study was to determine if pollen spectra predating clearance of the forest were preserved in the soil profile and to determine if pollen composition and location of the plant communities were recorded among the pollen data.
