Peregrine falcon monitoring project: sites 111 and 88, Big Bend National Park, Texas
Doty H and Myers P. 1988. Peregrine falcon monitoring project: sites 111 and 88, Big Bend National Park, Texas
This report documents the results of a 5 week study of courtship behavior of two pairs of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) at Big Bend National Park, Texas. Normal breeding behavior of two pairs was documented between February 22 and March 23, 1988. Disturbance by human activity was assessed. Both pairs changed locations of activities more than once during the five week observation period, but this may or may not be normal courtship behavior. Definite eyrie locations were not determined for either pair
