As part of the monitoring resulting from a large 1989 sediment input to Prairie Creek from highway construction, this report updates the last annual progress report (for 1990-1991, Coey et al., 1991, also described in this database). Both sediment persistence and salmonid egg survival are included in the study. This report includes a supplement to methods for determining effects on coho salmon egg survival and a supplement to results. Worms were found in greater numbers in the affected reach than in the control reach. Egg survival was poor during this period. Tables give sediment and dissolved oxygen data.
