Analysis of the patterns of precipitation and water flow in Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades National Park is important in protecting the water-dependent natural resources of these areas. This volume presents graphical and tabular data for Water Year 1978, with a discussion of the year's hydrologic conditions. Parameters include precipitation, temperature, water level, water deliveries, and discharge. Maps of the parks, area drainage, and the South Florida weather stations are included. Additional data (station means and extremes, 1977 weather data for south Florida, and more) is contained in the 6 appendices.
