A review of hydrologic data collected in South Florida. This is the second in a series of reviews intended to provide insight into the complicated hydrology of South Florida. The review discusses Climate (1977 Climate Synopsis, Temperature, Rainfall), Water Levels (Relative Water Levels, Low Water Conditions, High Water Conditions, Actual Water Conditions), Water Deliveries to Everglades National Park (S-12 Control Structure, Discharge) and a Conclusion (Discussion of the delicate hydrologic regime in Everglades National Park). The Appendix includes hydrologic monitoring station index, water level data, 1977 discharge data, and data from hydrologic stations (period of record, maximums, minimums, means and year occurred).
