Pollination and Pollinating Agents of the Saguaro

Tests at Saguaro National Monument were conducted to determine if insufficient pollination was a limiting factor in the production of viable seed, and it was not. In the investigation of pollinating agents, bats, bees, and white-winged doves were all found to be efficient pollinators, and the amount of seed produced should be sufficient for repopulation.
