Seed production in saguaro fruits was found to be similar, whether plants were pollinated by western white-wing doves, Leptonycteris bats, or honey bees. The plants do require cross-pollination, but based on the study, pollination is not a limiting factor in saguaro repopulation. Brief notes and references, 1 table.
