Mexican free-tailed bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) were captured, banded, and released from a cave along the Ruins Trail and along the Falls Trail at Bandelier National Monument, NM. Bats were banded in the summers of 1988 and 1989, and some adults were tested for pesticide levels. Trends in the population were the main focus of this report.
