Pregnancy Detection in Mountain Goats by Assay for Pregnanacy-Specific Protein B
Houston DB, Robbins CT, Ruder CA, Sasser RG. 1986. Pregnancy Detection in Mountain Goats by Assay for Pregnanacy-Specific Protein B. The Journal of Wildlife Management. 50(4):740-742
Samples of blood sera from 18 mountain goats (Oreamnos americanus) were examined for an antigen that crossreacts with antisera to bovine pregnancy-specific protein B (PSPB). Measurement of PSPB with bovine antisera provided a reliable diagnosis of pregnancy.
