Prehistoric quarries and implements of pre-Amerindian aspect in New Mexico

Bryan K. 1938. Prehistoric quarries and implements of pre-Amerindian aspect in New Mexico. Science. 87(2259):343-346

Ancient quarries were discovered on Cerro Pedernal where chalcedony was mined. There is archeological evidence at this site of implements that are possibly pre-puebloan. They resemble implements of Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and early Neolithic ages that have been found in Europe. Table 1: Implements from prehistoric quarry on Cerro Pedernal (a list with description).
