The author provides an analysis of the published and unpublished historical water quality information used for the evaluation and identification of coastal zone boundary determinations and the number and location of primary water quality stations for the south Florida National Park Service areas and adjacent estuaries. The following coastal zones were analyzed: Big Cypress Estuary, Everglades Estuary, Florida Bay, Card-Barnes Sound, southern Biscayne Bay, and the northern Coral Reef Tract. Parameters analyzed for each zone include: boundary determinants, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, and turbidity. Tables reporting raw data for these parameters, as well as a list of the water quality records used, are included.
