General information on bear numbers, increases in park visitors, the extent of human developments (campgrounds, etc.), garbage disposal facilities, grizzly relationships to developments, results of management. Conclusions are made on conditions which favored the preservation of a grizzly population, the desirability of eliminating artificial food sources, the effects of repeated transplants of bears, and management actions which could reduce the opportunities for injuries to humans and the need to control bears.
