The authors report that over 3,000 prey items were recovered from nestling and adult wood storks (Mycteria americana) from Everglades National Park, FL. They list these items and discuss selectivity of foraging storks in relation to the availability of potential prey. They found that fish comprised nearly the entire diet of wood storks within the study area. A table included in the report lists prey consumed by the storks, organized by habitat (coastal, mangrove, Everglades, Madeira Rookery, Lane River Rookery).
