Collecting Material for HABS in the Area of the Proposed Cape Cod National Seashore: Prospects and Proposals

Connally EA. 1960. Collecting Material for HABS in the Area of the Proposed Cape Cod National Seashore: Prospects and Proposals. Historic Structure Report. US Department of Interior, National Park Service, North Atlantic Regional Office. Boston, Massachusetts

This report documents the work of a Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) team of architects and students in the area of the proposed Cape Cod National Seashore. It follows the "Preliminary Study of Early Buildings on Lower Cape Cod, Massachusetts" (Connally, 1959). This stage involved identifying work for the summer, establishing priorities for the buildings to be included in HABS, and becoming familiar with the individuals and property owners who would be involved in such an effort. The list of buildings with available information is appended to this report. This notes several related preparations and products of this study, such as maps and other publications.
