Boyle SC, Krause D, Edaw, Inc., Land and Community Associates, Cynthia Zaitzevsky & Associates, John Milner Associates. 2001. The White House & President's Park Cultural Landscape Report: Site History and Evaluation, 1791-1997. Cultural Landscape Report. Washington, D.C.
Research for this project began in 1993 and resulted in a draft document prepared in 1993. The current report, largely based on the information included in the 1995 document, is divided into three main parts. The first part (chapters 1 through 8) is a history of the evolution of the site; the second part (chapter 9) describes existing conditions as of 1994; and the third part (chapters 10 and 11) evaluates the significance and the integrity of President's Park, using the criteria for the National Register of Historic Places. The document concludes with a brief summary of findings and recommendations for further study in chapter 12.
