Cultural Landscape Report

Cultural Landscape Report. NPS Cultural Landscapes Program

A Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) is the primary report that documents the history, significance and treatment of a cultural landscape. CLRs may be divided into three parts: Part I evaluates the history and integrity of the landscape including any changes to its geographical context, features, materials, and use; Part II is the treatment plan in the form of recommendations, guidelines or a “blueprint” vision for the future of the landscape; Part III is the record of treatment, where past implementation of the CLR treatment plan is documented. This series is part of the PHSCL Program records.
