Species Mapper
"Species Spotter" is a component of the Biodiversity Database (BD) initiative which displays the location of observed species in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GRSM) as well as likely locations where each species might be observed. The BD project is an attempt to document and identify the biodiversity richness of all of the species known to exist in the park. Various and many research projects document the presence of species throughout the park. Species Spotter is the compilation of the known location of each species displayed through an interactive mapping web site.
