In accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Park Service Inventory and Monitoring Division, a quality assurance plan has been created for use by the Great Lakes Inventory and Monitoring Network (GLKN) in the implementation of monitoring mercury in dragonfly larvae and fish. This quality assurance plan documents the standards, policies, and procedures used by the GLKN for activities related to the collection, processing, storage, analysis, and publication of monitoring data associated with monitoring mercury in dragonfly larvae and fish. The policies and procedures documented herein complement the quality assurance plans and procedures for other monitoring activities conducted by the GLKN and supplement the National Inventory and Monitoring Division Quality Management Plan.
