This report is a compilation of several individual technical reports resulting from cultural resource preservation activities in Canyonlands Natural Park and Natural Bridges National Monument, Southeastern Utah. The work, performed during the fall of 1984 and the spring of 1985, represents Year 2 of a multiyear ruins stabilization contract. The following ruins preservation activities were conducted during Year 2: the limited excavation and initial structural stabilization of Bighorn Sheep Ruin (42SA1563), Canyonlands National Park; a stabilization assessment of Big Ruin (42SA1586), Canyonlands National Park; and the initial structural stabilization of Bare Ladder Ruin (42SA6965) and Sipapu Bridge Trail Ruin (42SA16751), Natural Bridges National Monument. This report documents the cultural remains and stabilization activities performed at each site and provides recommendations for future preservation activities.
