This report contains a study and evaluation of the Plum Orchard Mansion for the purpose of making recommendations for its preservation and use as necessary to implement the approved development plan. The primary subject is the architectural and engineering research findings related to this resource. A brief historical summary contains currently available data pertinent to the physical history of the structure. The report provides recommendations and strategy for the protection and stabilization of the Plum Orchard Mansion and guidelines for its ultimate restoration if funding would become available. The report incorporates, updates, and completes the draft architectural data section of the historic structure report for the Plum Orchard Mansion prepared by David Henderson in 1976-77. Some of the new material in this report is based on field work conducted in February and July of 1985.
