This report serves as a supplement to Alvin Holm's 1982 Historic Structures Report, built from additional research periodically conducted in the intervening years. Batcheler notes the persistent questions not-yet answered, concerning what the house looked like during Poe's limited occupancy. The constituent reports in the supplement include an analysis of the chimney breast treatments of the house, paint analyses, wallpaper evidence, and evidence concerning various furnishings. The report also provides photos of the house in its 1990 condition and recommendation plans and sketches for the future treatment of the house.
