DC Chinatown Archives Projects is an outline archives that, for the first time, makes Chinatown DC history widely and easily accessible to the public. The community-driven project empowers the remaining Asian/Pacific Islander residents document and record their community's impact on the District. Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the District of Columbia Historic Preservation Office, Office of Planning, administered by the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number P18AF00072).
