Summary of Achievements: "During the FY'13 Site Rehabilitation, only three states submitted its project application. Beluu ra Ngeruikl was selected for the FY'13 grant fund for site rehabilitation. On June 6, 2015 the Bureau's Selection Committee met to evaluate all the received nominations. The Ngeruikl project proposal received 260 points. The project started immediately after the signing of the Cooperative Agreement on July 3, 2015. The Bureau visited the site during the month of July to monitor the project and take photographs of the site with the youth workers. The closing ceremony for the project has been on hold due to the heavy travel schedule of the Bureau staff and other customary obligations of the state. It has been decided that the closing ceremony will be in early January 2016." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Palau Historic Preservation Office, Bureau of Cultural and Historical Preservation, Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs, administered by the Pacific West Regional Office, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior (grant number 70-13-51964).
