Project report template and simplified data and metadata templates and background document provided both for inspection by offerors on pending contracting actions for inventory studies and for awardees to understand desired data deliverable format. Project reports use the simplified IMD/NRSS Science Report Microsoft Word template. Data deliverables are to be provided in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format with tabs for occurrence, event, and taxonomy information which generally follow data standards of the Darwin Core Archive (see https://tools.gbif.org/ for more information). The spreadsheet includes fields currently expected to be required of contractors, but these may be adjusted prior to award or may be extended by awardees as needed after award. A background document is included as is a basic Ecological Metadata Language (EML) metadata template.
