Munson Valley Historic District Cultural Landscape Report, Crater Lake National Park
MIG, Inc.. 2024. Munson Valley Historic District Cultural Landscape Report, Crater Lake National Park. Cultural Landscape Report. U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Cultural Resources Division. San Francisco, CA
This Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) for the Munson Valley Historic District (MVHD or district) serves as the principal treatment document for the cultural landscape and the primary tool for the long-term management of its physical attributes. The CLR provides a framework and goals for the cultural landscape; grounded in consolidated research and inventory, documentation, and analysis and evaluation of a landscape’s characteristics and associated features. The CLR builds upon the Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI) prepared in 2013 to identify landscape characteristics and associated features, values, and associations that make a landscape historically significant according to the National Register of Historic Places (National Register) criteria.
