An aerial sheep survey was conducted in Mount McKinley National Park during the period of July 8-11, 1975. The objective of the survey was to determine the number} distribution and composition of Dall sheep witlrin McKinley Park. The observer was Will Troyer, NPS biologist and the pilot, Chalon Harris of Denali Flying Service. Troyer had five years previous experience censing Dall sheep in the Kenai Penninsula and Harris had at least 10 years expe-cience flying in the McKinley area and had previously flown sheep surveys in the park.
