The Cultural Landscape Report (CLR) for the Glen Echo Park Crystal Pool landscape provides a site history, summary of existing conditions documented in August and November 2024, and analysis and evaluation of landscape changes and historical significance. Glen Echo Park is significant as a rare surviving example of a twentieth century amusement park for which it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 as the Glen Echo Park Historic District. The Remnants of the Crystal Pool Complex is a listed resource that contributes to the architectural and recreational significance of the park. The thoughtful analysis and evaluation of extant features provides a framework for future stewardship decision-making aligned with the historic significance that the Crystal Pool remnants contribute to the park.
