Nest sites and nest trees in Cooper's hawks (Accipiter cooperi) and northern goshawks (Accipiter gentilis) are compared in the Jemez Mountains, NM. Differences such as forest stand composition and aspect, species of nest tree, direction of nest exposure, forest floor slope, distance to water, and densities of old growth trees are noted. Includes one page of recommendations for management.
