This report was prepared to assist the park in planning and development in the Denali National Park and Headquarters Area. It addresses all of the immediate and long range needs of the existing structures in the Headquarters District (14 structures) and Wonder Lake Ranger Station. The proposed plan combines new construction with historic building rehabilitation. Volume 2 includes physical history and analysis for seven buildings in the district: Ranger Cache, Dog Feed and Sled Storage, Sign Storage, Plumbing Shop, East District Ranger Office, Employee Residences, and Employee Residences.
