This database contains location, attribute, vegetation and community classification data for wetlands inventoried and mapped throughout GRSM by GRSM staff and research partners from 2004 to 2014. Wetlands community classifications, which are on-going, have been conducted according to the Cowardin and Hydrogeomorphic (HGM) classification systems. All data are referenced to GCS North America 1983, NAD83. Wetlands determination and mapping methods conformed to the National Park Service Procedural Manual #77-1, the Federal Geographic Data Committee Wetlands Mapping Standard (FGDC-STD-015-2009), and the Federal Geographic Data Committee Wetlands Classification Standards (FGDC-STD-004-2013).
