This document describes the architectural features of the McLean House Kitchen, with recommendations for reconstruction. The McLean House Kitchen was probably built at the same time as the McLean House, which was built in 1848 for use as a tavern. Based on photographs and archeological investigation, the kitchen was a story-and-a-half log structure. It was half log construction and half frame construction, with a shed porch along the north wall. The architectural recommendation is to reconstruct the McLean House Kitchen to its 1865 appearance.
