This report provides background material for the work identified within the attached drawings. It was initially submitted as part of an overall Pkg. 224 work proposal in response to regional request for review of the individual components of a rehabilitation project. This copy incorporates park and region review comments for the work recieved by the Denver Service Center (DSC) on June 3, 1985. The report concerns the historic building complex located in the Lower Canyon de los Frijoles of Bandelier National Monument. It addresses pending construction activity for rehabilitating decaying wood members, with a primary emphasis on the buildings' canales and related roof deterioration.
